The Levie Medieval Festival: a journey back in time in the heart of the Alta Rocca

A village transformed into a medieval town
For three days, the cobbled streets of Levie are transformed: period stalls, knights in armour, jugglers, troubadours and sword fights invade the village for a total immersion in the 13th century. The atmosphere is magical, supported by the period costumes, medieval music and meticulous scenery, and by a cast of committed local people.

The Levie Medieval Festival offers a varied programme with blacksmithing demonstrations, grandiose shows, ancient dances, craft workshops (pottery, calligraphy, basketry)... A veritable medieval festival where learning is fun.

The medieval market: crafts and gastronomy of yesteryear
It's impossible to miss the medieval market which brings together artisans from all over Corsica (and further afield). You'll find :

- Jewellery inspired by medieval times
- Local products: Corsican charcuterie, honey, jams, bread baked over an open fire
- Costumes and accessories
Visitors can also enjoy on-site refreshments including dishes inspired by medieval recipes (or not), in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
