By boat

Companies and ports

If you prefer to arrive by car, van or motorbike, the ferry is the ideal solution. Several companies serve Corsica from the mainland:

Ports of departure Marseille, Toulon, Nice, Genoa, Savona, Livorno
Ports of arrival in Corsica : Ajaccio, Bastia, Ile-Rousse, Porto-Vecchio, Propriano

Crossings vary from 4 (from Italy) at 10 a.m. depending on the route and can be day or night (with cab).

By plane

Airports

If you're looking for a quick and practical solution, Corsica has four main airports :

From regular connections operate all year round from Paris, Marseille, Nice, Lyon, Toulouse... and seasonal flights from many cities in France and Europe. The average flight time is 1 h 30 from Paris.

Once on site

La car (or motorbike) is the best option for exploring the beaches, mountains and villages freely.

The regional buses are available, but limited, and practical for main routes.
