Useful information

Villata beach is a delightful stretch of white sand bordering the Padulu Portu lake, with the south side reserved for naturists. It can be reached on foot in 10 minutes or via the campsite of the same name.
This is a Natura 2000 site: "Dunes and ponds of Padulatu and Padulatu Tortu", and should therefore be preserved for its wealth of flora and fauna, particularly on the dunes.
The Dune de Villata, which runs north-south, occupies the bottom of a small gulf and is bounded to the south by the Punta di Pilatogu hill and to the north by the Capu di Fora hill.
This 10m-high dune, with its steep slope at the front, is fixed at its widest point. It is occupied by numerous junipers and a pine forest.
