HERITAGE DAY IN ZONZA

A dramatised talk for Heritage Days

Summary: At the start of the Corsican Wars of Independence, a baron from the old European nobility takes an interest in the small island, setting out on the adventure of a lifetime there. An adventurer, gambler and spy, Théodore embodies the spirit of the eighteenth century, a time when the winds of revolt were blowing. Whilst history often focuses on a single figure, he was in fact the first major instigator of the independence movement to come.
