To mark the 800th anniversary of the death of Francis of Assisi, the Alta Rocca Regional Media Library is hosting a day of discussions dedicated to the meaning and significance of the Franciscan spirit in Corsica, and in particular its ability to reconnect nature, art and the law.
The Canticle of the Creatures, composed by Francis of Assisi, will be at the heart of this gathering. The day will feature readings and a polyphonic performance of the Canticle of the Creatures in Umbrian, the language of Francis.
