This not-to-be-missed event plunges young and old alike into the fascinating world of the <strong>Middle Ages<\/strong>This year's event will feature historical re-enactments, festive entertainment and a craft market. A cultural and family event not to be missed in <strong>Corse-du-Sud<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A village transformed into a medieval town<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For three days, the cobbled streets of Levie are transformed: <strong>period stalls<\/strong>, <strong>knights in armour<\/strong>, <strong>jugglers<\/strong>, <strong>troubadours<\/strong> and <strong>sword fights<\/strong> invade the village for a total immersion in the 13th century. The atmosphere is magical, supported by the period costumes, medieval music and meticulous scenery, and by a cast of committed local people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A rich programme for all the family<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u25b8 Live shows and demonstrations<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Levie Medieval Festival offers a <strong>varied programme<\/strong> with blacksmithing demonstrations, grandiose shows, ancient dances, craft workshops (pottery, calligraphy, basketry)... A veritable <strong>medieval festival<\/strong> where learning is fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u25b8 Children's workshops and fun activities<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There will be special events for younger children: <strong>introduction to medieval fencing<\/strong>A unique way for families to discover history together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The medieval market: crafts and gastronomy of yesteryear<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It's impossible to miss the <strong>medieval market<\/strong> which brings together artisans from all over Corsica (and further afield).
