The Lire le Monde festival: the cultural highlight of Southern Corsica!
In 2026, the LIRE LE MONDE festival will continue to explore the links between Corsica and Naples with a rich and varied programme in two towns in the Alta Rocca region: Sainte-Lucie-de-Tallano and Serra-di-Scopamena.
A journey between Corsica and Italy not to be missed, featuring talks, meetings, exhibitions, performances and hiking.

📍 Saturday 25 July – Sainte-Lucie-de-Tallano Media Centre
10.00 am to 12.00 pm: Writing workshop «Parthenope: exploring the myth of the sirens», led by François Cucchi.
10.00 am to 1.00 pm: Illustration workshop «The Mermaid Parthenope», led by Mara Cerri.
4.00 pm: Opening of the 11th Lire le Monde Festival, attended by Sylvie Melchiori, Christine Simeone-Giocanti and Alain Di Meglio.
4.30 pm: Opening of the exhibition «People Pass By…», attended by Davide Cerullo.
5.00 pm: Talk: «Sharing Naples: when art becomes an act of resistance» with Davide Cerullo and Ernest Pignon-Ernest, followed by «Christian Bobin: Poeta dei lupi feriti – the poet of wounded wolves» with Sophie Chrétien and Davide Cerullo.
6.30 pm: Event: «Growing up in Naples: My Brilliant Friend as a comic strip» with Mara Cerri and Chiara Lagani.
7.30 pm: Talk: «The Marinagi of Bonifacio», a record of a Neapolitan micro-culture, with Alain Di Meglio and Philippe Pierangeli.
9.30 pm: Recital: «My Brilliant Friend as a Comic Strip», written and performed by Chiara Lagani, with illustrations by Mara Cerri.

4.00 pm: Reading of «Parthenope: exploring the myth of the sirens», a presentation of the writing workshop led by François Cucchi.
4.30 pm: Talk: «Fresh stories from a modern fabulist» with François Cucchi.
5.30 pm: Lecture: «The Bronze Age in Campania and Corsica» with Claude Albore-Livadie and Kévin Pêche-Quilichini.
7.00 pm: Poetry event and readings: «Contemporary Women’s Poetry» with Carmen Gallo, Angèle Paoli and Catherine Pont-Humbert.
10.00 pm: Concert: «A Breath of Jazz: from Naples to Tallano» featuring Il medico dei pazzi and Jazz Trio X 3 Corsica.
📍 Monday 27 July – Serra-di-Scopamena
9.00 am to 2.00 pm: «Literary Ambushes» literary walk with Jean-Philippe Taddei and Norbert Paganelli. Meeting point: outside Serra-di-Scopamena Town Hall. Bring a packed lunch, a hat and sturdy walking shoes.
3.00 pm: Exhibition and performance «Anantu u Pianu: a journey through poetry» at the Moulin de Serra-di-Scopamena, with Jean-Pierre Giovannangeli and Norbert Paganelli.
Musical performance «Incantesimi è muntagna»: a musical interpretation of the Neapolitan incantations by the poet Gerardo Pedicini. Musical production: Giacomo Pedicini. French vocals: Florence Lanzalavi.
